Our Story
A Capitol Hill classic, in the making.

Mango & Rye opened on a quiet block of Pennsylvania Avenue with one simple intention: to make the kind of restaurant the neighborhood actually wanted. Warm, a little dressy, but never precious.
Our kitchen, led by Chef Ana Rivera, draws from Mid-Atlantic farms and the wood-fired hearth at the heart of the room. Across the dining room, our bar program — built by veterans of the District's best cocktail dens — leans on rye whiskey, classic technique, and the seasons.
We named the place after two things we love: the bright fruit that reminds us of summer, and the rye whiskey that gets us through the winter. Everything else is hospitality.
